  19. ISDN seems to be the best next step.  It's here now and works.  ISDN
  20. "modems" are readily available and inexpensive.  But ISDN depends
  21. heavily upon the cooperation of the telephone companies.  Some telcos
  22. support it, others don't.  I've worked with ISDN and think it's a
  23. wonderful technology.
